So you’re looking for new granite countertops for your Bend, Oregon, home.

Renovating your home is an exciting process. And whether you’re adding a gourmet kitchen, creating an outdoor living space you’ll use as much as the inside, or upgrading the bathrooms throughout your home, granite is one of the best choices you can make for durability and resale value.

Of course, selecting granite isn’t as easy as pulling up a picture online and hitting the “buy” button. Every piece of granite is unique. You’ll have to find a company that sells granite slabs. And a quick search online may leave you confused and ready to abandon your project for good.

Knowledge goes a long way. Before you settle in on a slab for your new granite countertops, there are a few things you should know. Here are five reasons why EleMar Oregon is your perfect choice.

1. Our Selection

Did you know that no two pieces of granite are the same? That means when you make your final selection, you’ll know that you have something beautiful and unique installed in your home.

Of course, that also means it can be difficult to find what you want.

Granite is made of a variety of interlocking mineral crystals to form its unique patterns. It usually contains feldspar and quartz, but there are many more minerals that weave throughout the slab, giving it dimension and depth.

Granite is blasted out of quarries in large blocks before being cut down into workable slabs. Most slabs of granite are cut to about 4 to 5 feet in width and 7 to 9 feet in length. Then the slab is polished to create a uniform thickness.

Before we bring in slabs for granite countertops here to our Bend, Oregon, location, we scour the world looking for the most beautiful pieces. We look for different colors, different patterns, different grains. We know that kitchens and bathrooms come in different sizes, so we look for slabs that work well together. We want pieces that will only increase in beauty once installed inside your home.

2. Our Process

Here at EleMar, we’re a wholesale stone slab supplier that works exclusively with licensed and bonded stone fabricators. If you’re remodeling your home, you can’t visit our showroom and buy a slab to haul home.

But you can visit our showroom at any time and start browsing through our slabs. If you work with a contractor, they can help you finalize your selections. If you don’t currently have a fabricator in place, we can make recommendations for you once you have your ideas in mind.

3. Our Warehouse

When you visit our warehouse, you’ll notice we’re not your average big box store. There are a couple of things you should be aware of before you head over for a visit.

We are a wholesaler, which means we finalize sales with fabricators and contractors only. But you can come in and browse and even make your final selection. We gladly work with homeowners wanting to remodel their Bend, Oregon, homes. Just connect us with your contractor or fabricator, and we’ll ensure you get the slab you choose.

Also, we are an active warehouse. And granite countertop slabs are big and bulky. There’s a lot of movement going on at any point during the day. You should be cautious as you’re moving around and walking throughout our facility.
